What is a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer is someone who helps individuals or companies design a method for organizing and keeping a system of organization. The best method for organizing is to decide what to keep, donate, and trash. Then take the items you are keeping and find a place for it in your life.
Why hire a Professional Organizer?
Not being organized is not about laziness. Many times life just gets so busy that we can’t keep up. A professional organizer will help you get your life back in order and relieve the stress of “wondering when you are going to catch up.” Together we will get your stuff back together.
Do I need to be present when you work on my home or office?
You are welcome to help as much as you would like. If you want me to do the majority of the organizing and leave you homework assignments at night, this works. Or if you want to be more involved in the process, I am happy to have you join me. If you are comfortable with me being at your house alone, I will take care of most of the project while you are at work or out. If not, we can figure out a time that works with you.
How does the initial consultation work?
Together, we look at the space that needs organizing. I ask a few questions about what you are hoping to get out of this service and I take the time to understand you and understand where your anxieties may be and how much change you really want to make.
